Obasi, Hannah

I like a rather simple look that includes a close-fitting shirt, skinny jeans, and flats. It's comfortable, inexpensive, and not very difficult. I've noticed that skinny jeans have greatly grown in popularity over the past few years, and they are something we now see everywhere.

Obasi, Mary

This is what I call "the look." Angela Simmons (left) displays it perfectly. I just look for clothing that is nice and simple. I'm not really big on brand names.

The Look: Etta,Chinelo

This is the what I consider to be the look. I'm really into cardigans and plaid shirts. I also LOVE cheap canvas shoes and vans which I can't live without. I guess we can all agree that this style is pretty snazzy right?

SNEAKA FREAK: WILLIAMS, JORDAN

One of my biggest pursuits of fashion are shoes. To be completely honest my obsession with shoes is rediculous. I have a nice amount of shoes, but not nearly enough as I want. I have more shoes than i do clothes to go with them. I find myself having some dope shoes, but unable to wear them because i have nothing to match. For the most part im pretty simplistic when i dress. I would just by some shoes, then get a hat to match. If my shoes aren't in order then i don't feel complete. Besides, what is fashion without shoes?

The LooK (^-^) Rubio, Maria

This is the look I am inspired by. I basically wear anything. It all depends on my mood. If I am feeling girly, I'll put really nice clothes, like a dress, jewelry, heels or sandals. If I am feeling sporty, I'll wear some basketball shorts and a hoodie. If I am feeling casual I'll wear jeans and a colorful shirt with designs. My look represents me. I'll wear anything as long as I like it. I am very open minded about styles. I think the most important thing is feeling comfortable with your lookand being able to represent yourself through it.

The Look: Suarez, Luis

This is what I consider to be "my look." I usually like to dress or simply go out in the most simplest ways. All I really need is a muscle shirt, my shoes, a belt, and shorts or jeans. It's as simple as that. I dress to impress but at the same time I dress to feel comfortable. Because I naturally stay warm, I don't really like to wear shirts to cover up my shoulders. I usually wear my muscle shirts when it is hot or a long sleeve when it is cold outside. I also like to be classy and elegent, yet loose and comfortable.
If it looks presentable enough that I will be able to go anywhere and stand out. I guess you can say my look is "Retro." I like to wear clothes that give off that "oldies" type of vibe. That is what I consider to be elegent, yet stylish and comfortable.

Marquez, Ricardo

I value this look because the Dickies brand is a great brand. The material is very durable, and they wont stain your white shoes like jeans do. Everything is very comfortable, especially the Air Forces. These shoes are great and come in a lot of colors. Dickies are great for any occasion: they are dressy if you are going somewhere important, yet are very good for work as well. I also like to wear plain ol' white t's. Their fashionable and affordable, cant go wrong with the classics.

The Look: Flores, Sheyla

This is the look I think I am most comfortable with. I got most of my "look" pictures from an online web site my aunty and I like to shop at. In this look I feel dressed up...but at the same time casual enough to wear anytime! I love to wear really pretty shirts with some regular casual jeans and of course accesories are ALWAYS good. :) I really love to wear flats,Im not really a sneakers person, I can't say I'm a high heeled person either but if I found some like these I would wear them. This to me is "The look" because you can be comfortable in it anytime. I don't need to be in style or wear clothes with a brand, I just have to like them. The clothes have to look good on all body types and to me that's "the look". I don't know if this look is really popular but I would agree to its popularity because you can wear it for any event. You can wear it for partys, school or just for anytime. Thats what really matters, you have to be able to wear something that screams this is me and Im proud of "my look" while feeling comfortable at ALL times.

The look Ortiz, Marcos

Well personally i like to be fitted out with all kinds of apparel that is branded by l-r-g which stands for (lifted research group).Lifted Research Group was founded in 1999 by Jonas Bevacqua and Robert Wright. LRG is not only very stylish and unique but its mostly an urban lifestyle company. LRG focuses primarily on the design, production, and marketing of streetwear clothing and accessories. The company also supports independent, underground, and lesser-known recording artists. I like how everything fits on me and the great designs that LRG portrays on its clothing. LRG delivers important life messages and thought provoking slogans that really captures your state of mind. LRG is a company that mainly produces clothing and accessories, although is known to develop a broad range of products including electronic accessories, extreme vehicles, outdoor equipment including sporting goods and more. LRG is designed to overthrow the masses by our influences, their slogan is simple "underground inventive, overground effective". LRG is much more than clothing and concepts, it is a way of living.

The Look: Mojica, Jasmine

The picture above is similar to what I like. It’s comfortable and simple. I like clothes that just cute or flattering. I don’t value big brand labels. I feel like something could look just as good as something that has a label. I didn’t grow up valuing expensive labels or the “latest, hot trend”. Skinny jeans and a nice shirt/blouse/top along with flats (Jaron calls them “slippers”, I don’t know why), earrings, and a bag or tote is what you would usually see me wear. I love flats and bags! I love flats, not because I don’t know how to tie shoelaces, but because they’re comfortable and quick to put on. I love bags (especially metallic ones) because they carry everything. As for colors, I love them all: gold, purple, yellow, pink, black, blue, grey, teal...you get the picture.

Eminem, whom is my Hip Hop hero/idol, recently relaunched his Shady Ltd. clothing line this year. This clothing line is what I consider "in" for the reason that it is not as popular as every other clothing line. Being different is one of my biggest and most important personality traits. I wear Shady Ltd. because the messages on the shirts are explicit, contraversial, humorous, and different.
Another big reason I wear Shady is because most of the clothing designs revolve around Eminem's lyrics. I am a big Eminem and D12 fan so in a way I feel like a supporter or representer when I wear the clothes. If you examine the clothing designs hard enough, you'll notice they are basically illustrations that coincide with Eminem's powerful lyrics. I relate a lot to Eminem's messages so my taste of style and such are "Shady" i guess. The clothing line is nothing less then genius to me and I feel more comfortable wearing this clothing than anything else.

This is what I would probably say is "the look" for me because it shows a unique style that can be seen from the distance. I believe that people want to be noticed and that it will help others to notice you if you wear something that has patterns or a strange style to it. Different colors in combination with each other also help this image.

"The Look That's You" - Florence Lau

The "look" can be shown in many different ways. This is the look I value because it carries a very Asian look, and what I believe to be my "perfect" image. This look is one of the many where people
would say "oh my god, that's so Asian." It isn't about ethnicity, the key is taste and design. I like how it is so ordinary, and at the same time gives off a sense of style. These clothes do not cost much money. You don't need to wear clothes that cost over 200 dollars or wear shoes that cost almost 100 dollars; natural is individual beauty.

Leon, Nery

The look I value is the denim look. Everyone has worn or wears jeans, whether it is skinny jeans or bell bottoms. I think that jeans are what connects all the different "looks." Jeans can also be worn with any color, or in any weather. I like jeans because they are comfortable, stylish, and eternal.

MY LOOK;FLORES,JASMIN

So I've decided that this is the type of look that I believe most people around me go for. It's the type of look that's urban and retro. Now a days there are people who dress in such fashion, which I believe is unique in many different ways. It's the type of look that you can just wear anything with. It's like if you want to wear a green shirt with yellow shoes, it would look totally right just because it's the type of retro, urban type of look.
I personally love this style because it's bright, unique, and it bring a lot to the table. Also, if you would be able to wear anything that you desire because it would just look right. Wearing Jordans, Vans, Keds, or Dunks with anything bright as what's shown in the picture, it would be totally rockin![=

Kiteas, Christopher

I value this look because as you can see, you can get these sheos in almost every color. I also like the style of these shoes. These kind of shoes are very popular because you can where them with almost anything. I think that your shoes tell you a lot about your personality and what you think the "look" is. I personally think that these shoes are a big part of the "look" today. Without shoes your outfit would not be complete, so you have to get shoes that match your personality. Since these shoes come in so many varieties, they can match almost everybody's personality and style.

Jordan's. I agree that Jordans are "the look" for people around my age. Not every person agrees with me but for they are the look. I like the different type of materials they use in making these shoes. They always mix up the colors to make every shoe stand out. The shoes might be over priced but you can wear with pretty much all types of clothing.

The Look By Vincent Cheng =)

This is the clothe i pick from a Japanese store called "Muji".
The most important about the clothe is casual and comfortable. The set on the left just fit these two category. Shirt and jeans not only can wear in a lot of situation, it also create a unique fashion style for everyone by matching different kind of jeans and shirts =)

Parks, Amber

I feel that this is the current fashion preference, not only because you see many people wearing them, but I feel that these clothes can be found at affordable prices, and appeal to most of the " young " people today. I personally like the bright and different shades of colors. Skinny jeans are not only cute, but they can also go with almost any shirt or shoes, and are comfortable. Sweatshirts are also extremely comfortable so its just a plus that they come this cute instead of the regular grey or black plain ones. Shorts, tanktops, tshirts, and the loose hanging shirts are also comfortable, not too pricey, and there's many different types to choose from so that you can find the right style for you. As you can probably tell, I value comfort and cuteness. Though this covers most of what I prefer, if I like something, I get it, regardless of what the style is. So for me, you can't necessarily put an exact style on what " the look " is. I think that no matter what you wear, the way you wear it creates your own personal look anyways. =]

The Look: Cortés, Jorge

With the exception of the hat, this is "the look" for me. I value this style not because of the brand, but because of the design. Overall, I like dressing in a comfortable manner. In my case, this means having loose fitting pants and a casual shirt. As long as I like the way I look, then everything is alright.

Ortiz, Andrea

I love this style. It's cute, simple and fun! The colors are so vibrant and outgoing. I think every girl should have at least some clothes that have some color in their closet. Not only does it look cute, but it also brightens your mood. With the skinny jeans, it doesn't matter if you are skinny or you have a couple of extra pounds, I think they are for everyone even if they are called "skinny" jeans. I wear skinny jeans, I'm overweight, and I don't really care. I feel like converse or "chucks" whatever you want to call them have never stopped being fashionable. They're comfortable and come with different colors, styles and designs. Like I said before, this style is cute, colorful, outgoing, vibrant, and FUN.
This is another style I like. It's a more sophisticated style, but it's cute. What I love about it is the fact that any girl can wear this style, no matter what size, and look great in it! All you got to have is confidence. But from the shoes, accessories, and clothings, I love the style. It may be "in" or whatever, but it's flirty yet sophisticated and that's what I like about it.

P.S. Sorry I put two pictures.
I just really wanted to talk about these
two styles.

Sibrian, Emerson

To me the look is a nice collar shirt with jeans. I like this look because it's simple and neat. I value this look because it's wearable to multiple occasions.

Destiny Poehnelt

This is the look I chose. I found it in a seventeen magazine. The main things that made me choose this is that she was curvy and dressed very cute. Most magazines I see the topic is about how thin people are or how much people have gained. I often find it offensive that only skinny women or seen in magazines. So when I saw this I had to take a picture and submit it for my choice.

The Look by Antonio Lopez

I would be lying if I said that fashion isn't important because everyone cares about their appearance. Why else would we spend all our money on designer clothes and try to keep up with the fashion game. Honestly fashion can make a impact on your life. For example, it can affect the outcome of either getting a date or being rejected and spending your Saturday night home alone playing Uno with grandma.

I really value this look because its fresh, cool, and collective. It isn't extravagant but it's enough to catch people attention and say "Wow...that guy looks fitted" or "I'm really feeling his style." It isn't really baggy or ridiculously big. It's unique and its simple. Its really up to the person to decide how to coordinate their clothes if they want to look stylish. Just be creative and let your imagination go wild.

I personally don't really stick to a certain type of style because I'm always trying out different styles and experimenting. I believe that fashion is just you pretty much just being yourself. If people see that you have confidence in the way you dress or how you look then they're going to respect you for it. They might also like your taste and try mimic your style. That's how trends and fashion start. People just being themselves and not get absorbed into the fashion hype.

I value this image from Lot 29 becasue it has catoons from my young age. All the caracters that i grew up with are on these fashionable clothes. I really like the style that they show, they really know how to put on the clothes. I also value it because their clothes are modeled by different people of color.

Kiteas, Michael

I value this look because it's the kind of look that makes you look sophisticated. I know that when i am wearing a suit that i want to be looked at as a sophisticated young man who is very smart. When you go out in public in this type of clothing people will think to themselves, "WOW!... that man must make a lot of money because he's wearing a really neat suit. He looks very intelligent, he must be very popular." I like wearing suits because it makes me feel good about myself and it makes me feel smart. The good thing is that suits look good on almost every man.

The Look: Prompong, Charinee

Fashion^^
I value clothing that is comfortable and unique. I'm very careless about matching because it's too much trouble for me to go through my closet and pick what to wear in the morning. 95% of my clothes are from guys stores. I think it's quite comfortable and the styles are really nice. Fashion around me has very little effect on my lifestyle. :)

The Look: Siu, Natalie

The term "clothing style" is the way you dress yourself; it is what you find attractive in the store; it is the technique of mixing and matching what's right for you. You can create your own unique clothing style or you can follow the latest fashion trend which is what's in or popular at the moment. I follow the fashion that I find acceptable or working for me (ie. Skinny jeans, sweater dresses), or else I tend to color-coordinate my outfit (top to bottom, earrings, bracelets, even socks). I value casual, sporty look, a look that is comfortable to look at. Extreme colors mixed together(ie. bright yellow mixed with sky blue) and over sized clothing are not for me. I like relaxed colors such as white and purple. Also I prefer clothes that are made from soft material so I can move about easily.

The Look: Xie, Walt

Creativity, originality, and design are all blended into what is called fashion. Fashion is what you wear: from flip-flops, shorts, and a t-shirt to wearing a two-piece Armani suit. Fashion is an answer to make a person feel good about themselves to solve the problem: "How should I look for people to notice me?" Truth be told, I believe fashion is up to the wearer and it doesn't really matter what you wear, unless it blatantly stands out.

Here, I have a picture of the Lopez family (Steven, Mark, and Diana) and Charlotte Craig. They are wearing Nike track jackets and pants. The people named above are Tae Kwon Do atheletes, and just recently went to the Olympics; each member of the Lopez family earned a medal to add to the pile of U.S. won medals in the Olympics and Charlotte Craig unfortunately did not win a medal. I think their apparel is "the look" because it's simple and you can workout in it!

Hayes, Kevin

NOW THIS IS WHAT I CALL STYLE!!!! BECAUSE IT IS VERY UNIQUE AND LOVABLE. IT CAN GO WITH ANYTHING YOU WANT AND IT'S UNISEX. ANYBODY CAN WEAR THEM!! THEY COME IN MANY DIFFERENT STYLES AND COLORS.

The Look: Balderas, Jocelyn

I see a lot of people wearing colorful clothing nowadays, along with skinny jeans and flats. I agree with this style, because its fun and can be worn in many different settings. Skinny jeans can be worn with dressy shirts, or with a regular t-shirts to school. Skinny jeans can go with any type of shoe, but ballet flats, or just "flats" are the ones most commonly worn with them. Personally, I don't really have a style, if I see something i like I'll but it, but I do like wearing skinny jeans and flats a lot.

Jessica Garcia

The style that i see currently spreading like wild fire is the boho chic look. You don't really care what you wear, and it just comes together. Well, you look like you don't care about what your wearing, if it matches, but you really do. The entire point of the clothing is to showcase yourself as a person who does not care about fashion, but you are actually being "fashionable"... if that's what you like to wear. This sort of style is prevalent among the "hip" new yorkers, the alternative rockers, and many berkelyties. I like it, but wearing clothes to make yourself look like you don't care when you really do, it's just not logical.

Ellison, Erika

This is the style i love because most guys today go for the grimest look, and sag their pants, looking like "gangsters". This man however wears a nice suit and always looks classy. He also has a show called "g's" to "gents", where he is showing men how to carry themselvs.

Angel Asante

This is a typical Abercrombie & Fitch ad with your half naked white males that are just there to make you think: "Dude if I buy their overpriced clothes I'll sooo look like that." But in reality, many of the "vaules" presented to me and others in this picture are simply unrealistic. I haven't seen a single model from Abercrombie & Fitch's pictures that could reflect who I am or my background. That could be because I am a person with values very similar to my parents, friends and other family members. Practical and simple is pretty much the style I've grown up with and sticked to; if I see something cheap and it looks nice, then hey I guess that's the image I want to portray. For Abercrombie & Fitch on the other hand, what they believe to be "in" and fashionable may be controversial and not exactly the ideal look for everyone, but their marketing strategy is still working. As their values are being imposed on the young people who decide to buy their clothes is something else beside image being chosen over? Are teenagers deciding to put faith in the values of clothing stores like Abercrombie & Fitch over the values of their parents? This may be something I've thought everytime I've seen these ads but I could be wrong. Then again, I've made the decision to value what's portrayed in these ads because I have a different agenda with different priorities.

EDIT: whoops, this is my source http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y154/jfyffe/raidmyspace/layouts/brand/abercrombie_and_fitch/abercrombie_bg.jpg

The Look: Obasi, Rebecca

The look that I look up to is something glamorous and edgy because from my perspective its very stylish and hip now and days. I love bright colors because they make you stand out from the crowd. A look like this can really define you as being sophisticated, hip or just "girly girl" at the same time but that doesn't mean that is who you are as a person, from my perspective that is.

The Look: Liu, Kevin

Fashion is a highly subjective topic and will vary widely among
different genres. This look is "in" because it's fashionable from all standpoints.
Trey rocks his dark wash jeans below his waist and sports a stylish white unzipped jacket, all while retaining a fresh clean-cut look. The bleached white shoes (popular among most "in" looks) and diamond watch enhance his overall classic, STUDish look.

The Look: Campbell, Marianna

Fashion expresses ones personality, since of color and coordination, and personal style. The style of fashion and labels that I value are represented and modeled by actor Lauren London, and Hip Hop recording artist Cassie. The ladies are modeling high waisted pants, fitted jackets, and bright Mitch-Match colors that compliment each other. (Lauren in the yellow pants with black jacket, and Cassie in yellow jacket and pink pants) I value this style as sexy, and sophisticated with a hint of a bright and vibrant edge. A hint of bright, vibrant colors, and mixed patterns adds personality and character to a completely assembled outfit. To the right the ladies represent styles of glamor, flirtatiousness, and and charm; hence labeled Glam Boulevard. If I were to categorize my on personal style of a nice heel, skinny legged jeans, a fitted chic blouse, and glamorous accessories I would be labeled as a Sophisticated Downtown Diva.

The Look: Diaz, Emmanuel

So this style is probably not the most fashionable at the moment, but you know what, fashion really depends on the user or wearer or whatever they are called. I know it's probably a cliche by now, but it's the truth.
So this style is real simple, hoodie, whiteT, jeans; all basically loose fitting clothes. The shades and the hat add to the look but aren't really necessary (at least not in my opinion). The only thing I don't like about this is the shoes. They should be like vans. Kind of like me.

The Look: Santos, Evelyn

Though this style wouldn't necessarily be featured in the latest magazine of VOGUE because of it’s simplicity I think more people around here are more likely to wear this then any “couture” dress found in the pages of VOGUE. As many might’ve already realized, the skinny jeans has become really popular lately, and that’s one of the reasons that I picked this picture. But there is something about the skinny jean that might cause some dilemma. I’ve noticed that the term skinny jean might be quite literal; the jean seems to be specifically designed for those who fall under the “skinny” criteria. Maybe I’m wrong about this but I have heard people say that skinny jeans should ONLY be worn by those are thin. Personally, I like this style; it’s simple and pretty but I don't like the fact that you have to be a certain way to be able to wear something it.

The Look: Alva, Gabriela

What is the "look"? The answer to that question really depends on what genre of style one is looking at. A style that currently seems to be getting more popular is the punk rock fashion. With cute little skulls, studded belts, and Vans or Converse, this style has been starting to be adapted into other fashions as well. Instead of dark colors, some are starting to mix it with bright colors to create a new kind of style. I myself like the punk style because of how easily it can be mixed into other styles, making it all the more unique; and unique is what I always try to accomplish with my clothing.
